Installation support

Everything an installer needs to take a Wise Controls system from box to commissioned — in five steps, with free training and a direct line to our technical team.

Five steps from box to commissioned

Most receiver / keypad pairs go live in under 10 minutes.

  1. 1

    Wire the receiver

A qualified electrician wires the Wise receiver in-line between the mains supply and the light fitting. Standard back-box install.

  2. 2

    Mount the transmitter

Wise keypads stick to any wall — no back box, no chase. Battery-powered transmitters need no cabling at all.

  3. 3

    Pair the devices

Press the program button on the receiver, then the corresponding button on the transmitter. The receiver beeps to confirm — pairing is stored permanently.

  4. 4

    Set scenes (optional)

On a Scene receiver, set the desired lighting levels then press-and-hold the keypad button to store the scene. Recalled with a single tap.

  5. 5

    Test and hand over

Walk the install with the customer. Show them the keypad modes — press for on/off, hold to dim, scene recall, master off.

Pairing without software

  1. 1. Power up the receiver. Wire it in-line between the mains and the fitting per the spec sheet.
  2. 2. Press & hold the program button on the receiver until the LED flashes.
  3. 3. Press the matching button on the keypad or remote within 10 seconds.
  4. 4. Receiver beeps to confirm pairing. Stored permanently.
  5. 5. Test the action: press for on/off, hold to dim. Repeat to add more transmitters.

No laptop, no hub, no app required. Same procedure for every Wise receiver — Wise Box, Scene, Fusion.

Free in-person training

The School of Wise runs free training sessions for electricians at our Wandsworth HQ. Hands-on with real Wise Box, Scene, Fusion and Chameleon kit — and the team that builds it. Remote sessions on request.
