What is Wise Chameleon?
One platform, every colour
Wise Chameleon is the colour-change side of the Wise platform — a family of drivers and controllers built for RGBW LED strip, tunable white (CCT) fittings, and digital addressable LED tape. The lighting outputs are different, but the wireless control language is identical to the rest of the Wise range.
Programme a colour or white temperature once using the keypad or the Wise Daisy app, store it as a scene, and recall it instantly. Compatible with industry-standard DMX so it slots into architectural and stage lighting workflows without proprietary lock-in.

Wise Chameleon FAQ
Does Wise Chameleon need a separate hub?
No. The drivers pair directly with Wise keypads and remotes over RF — same wireless backbone as the rest of the Wise platform. No hub or app is required for basic scene recall.
Can I add app or voice control later?
Yes. Add a Wise Daisy hub to bridge the RF system to the Wise Daisy smartphone app, Alexa and Google Assistant. Existing keypads continue to work alongside.
Is it really DMX-compatible?
Yes. Selected Wise Chameleon controllers output industry-standard DMX. The colour scenes you programme via keypad fire as DMX commands so the system slots into architectural lighting universes.
Can it drive third-party LED strip?
Yes — Wise Chameleon drivers are open-standard. They drive any RGBW or tunable white strip at the right voltage (12 V / 24 V). No proprietary fittings required.
Will it work with Wise Box and Wise Scene?
Yes — the entire Wise platform shares one RF network. A Chameleon driver can sit alongside Wise Box receivers and Wise Scene controllers and be triggered from the same keypads.
How do outdoor versions hold up?
IP-rated outdoor variants are rated for permanent exterior installation. We'd typically spec them for façade washes, garden uplights and pool installs.
